On June 7, 2007, the club reached a major milestone --
250,000 collective miles of hiking!
The milestone occurred during a hike, led by Rudi Punzmann,
through Honeybee Canyon.

The hike culminated in a party at Honeybee Park, hosted by Larry Wolf.

  Leslie Esparza’s homemade cookies were appreciated by all.

 With Larry’s help, the event was covered by Brian Pedersen, a reporter from the Arizona Daily Star.  Patches, commemorating the milestone, were distributed to club members at the spring picnic and annual meeting.
