If you have a medical condition and/or are taking prescription medications, please fill out an Emergency Medical Card and carry it with you at all times. If you are allergic to any medication or have other allergies, note that also. If you require medical assistance while on a hike, it will help medical personnel give you the proper care. Include the phone number of the person to be contacted In Case of Emergency. Also, bring any medications you might need during a hike. Carry the card in an accessible location (e.g. in a zip-lock bag fastened to your outer clothing or outer backpack).
